Samsung makes its own full stack

So Samsung have joined Google & Apple in the 'it's my way or the highway' school of monopoly. So annoying.

It's amazing that the entire focus of mobile computing, the supposed cutting edge of technology, is centered around three or four platforms solving similar problems in very similar ways.

Samsung’s seemingly baffling TouchWiz strategy suddenly makes sense... hide Android from mainstream users... come the launch of a Tizen running Samsung Galaxy S6 most users outside tech circles would struggle to tell the difference. Samsung would have maintained its sales and gained complete software independence to rival Google and apple. The great switcheroo would be complete.
